
The Coblentz Society Early Career Poster Award recognizes exceptional achievement in vibrational spectroscopy, as demonstrated through high-quality research, innovation, and excellence in poster presentation at ICORS. The purpose of the Coblentz Society is to foster the understanding and application of vibrational spectroscopy.
Each award recipient will receive:
- A cash award of $500 USD
- A one-year membership in the Coblentz Society
- A certificate of recognition
Judging Criteria
- Scientific merit / originality
- Application of vibrational spectroscopy
- Clarity of presentation
- Visual quality of the poster
- Ability to communicate results
- Ability to respond to questions
- Ability to communicate the intended impact of the work
Eligibility
- The presenting author must be an early-career researcher (PhD student or researcher within 10 years of completing their PhD).
- The applicant must be the presenting author and have made a major contribution to the work.
