Option 1: The F1 Funicular Line (Fastest & Recommended)
- Travel Time: ~2.5 minutes (plus walking to/from platforms)
- Frequency: Departs every 5–7 minutes
- Locate the Station: Head to the main Taksim Metro Station entrance located directly in Taksim Square
- Follow the Signs: Follow the directional signs inside the station for the F1 Funicular Line (Taksim – Kabataş).
- Pass the Turnstiles: Tap your Istanbulkart or contactless payment card at the turnstiles.
- Board the Funicular: Board the funicular train heading downhill. The journey is non-stop and takes less than 3 minutes to reach the lower terminus at Kabataş
